What version of Java should I install?
Preferably the newest version. As of September 2010, Java version 6 update 21 is stable with GeoCENS.
What browsers are supported?
We recommend using either Firefox 3.6 or Chrome 6 or newer. The site may exhibit unusual behaviour in Safari, Opera, or Internet Explorer.
Do you support Mac OS X systems?
At the moment, the applet is incompatible with Mac OS X (any version). That is because Mac's poor Java support.
Do you support mobile devices, such as Android or iPhone?
Due to the intensive demands required to render the WorldWind Browser, we do not support these devices at the current time.
I am having an issue with the GeoCENS website/applet. Who can I contact?
Please send a descriptive email to Dr. Steve Liang, and we will assist you with your issue.
What data format should I use to upload to GeoCENS?
Please create a CSV file with two columns, date (YYYYMMDDHHMMSS) and value (numeric). An example file is available for comparison.
